Timer Title Help
Very flexible settings are possible for Timer Title . You can change the text size of timer titles, and it's possible to use several parameters within the timer titles.
You can also set the default title for convenience which is used when creating a new timer.
Available parameters within Timer Title
The following parameters can be used for each individual timer title and will be converted dynamically.
- $ttime : Original Timer Time Duration
- $stime1 : Previous Timer Start Time (without date)
- $stime2 : Previous Timer Start Time (with date)
- $etime1 : Previous Timer End Time (without date)
- $etime2 : Previous Timer End Time (with date)
- $group : Timer Group Name
- $note : Timer Note
- $ecount : Timer End (expired) Count
Example) Suppose the group name is "Group 1" and the timer time is 30 minutes, the title is converted as follows.
(Before conversion) Timer 1 $group - $stime1
↓
(After conversion) Timer 1 Group 1 - 00:30:00
There are also some special parameters that use Timer Note as follows.
- $cnote1(title) : In the part corresponding to title, put the character string you wan to actually display as a title.
If a timer note exists, only the timer note will be displayed.
If it doesn't exist, the character string corresponding to title is displayed as a title.
Example)
(Before conversion) $cnote1(This is Title)
↓
(After conversion)
If a note doesn't exist : This is Title
If the note is "It's Note" : It's Note
- $cnote2(title) :
If a timer note doesn't exists, only the character string corresponding to title is displayed as a title.
If exists, title / note will be displayed.
Example)
(Before conversion) $cnote2(This is Title)
↓
(After conversion)
If a note doesn't exist : This is Title
If the note is "It's Note" : This is Title / It's Note
- $cnote2(title, SEP) :
You can specify a separater between a title and a note.
Example)
(Before conversion) $cnote2(This is Title, +++)
↓
(After conversion)
If a note doesn't exist : This is Title
If the note is "It's Note" : This is Title+++It's Note
Timer Title Position
The position (alignment) of the timer titles can be selected from Center, Right and Left by the following option.
Settings > Timer Title Related Settings > Timer Title Position
Timer Title Text Size
The font size of the timer titles is decided by Settings > Display Settings > Font Size Related Settings > Timer Text and Button Size option.
You can also change the font size of only timer titles by the following option without changing the font size of other parts and button sizes.
Settings > Display Settings > Font Size Related Settings > Timer Title Text Size
If you select Use App Text Size , the font size of the timer titles is decided by Timer Text and Button Size option.
Enable HTML tags for Timer Title
Limited HTML tags are available for the timer titles.
By default, HTML tag conversion for the timer titles is disabled. Turn on the following option and enable it first.
Settings > Timer Title Related Settings > Enable HTML Tag Conversion
Once enabling the option, the limited HTML tags can be used. The confirmed valid tags are as follows.
<b>, <u>, <font> (color attribute only), <big>, <small>, <sub>, <sup>
Example)
- Underline part of the title :   This is <u>Title</u> → This is Title
- Emphasize part of the title :   This is <b>Title</b> → This is Title
- Change part of the title color :   This is <font color="red">Title</font> → This is Title
- Use subscript :   This is <sub>Title</font> → This is Title
- Use superscript :  This is <sup>Title</sup> →  This is Title
Default Timer Title Settings
The default timer title is used when creating a new timer. It'll be assigned as a new timer title automatically. If you have a frequently used title string, it's convenient to set it here.
Settings > Timer Title Related Settings > Default Timer Title
You can also use all the timer title parameters such as $ttime for the default timer title.
In addition, there is a static parameter %ind that can only be used for the default timer title.
%ind is the auto incremental index of timers and will be converted to the number of timers in the current group + 1 on the Timer Creation window.
Example) In case there are five timers in the current timer group.
If the default timer title is Timer %ind , Timer 6 will be assigned to the next timer title on the Timer Creation window.
The timer title to be assigned after next will be Timer 7.
To enter a timer title by a separate window on Timer Creation dialog
On Timer Creation/ Modify dialog, if the timer title input area is too small to enter, you can use the separate window to enter a timer title by checking the following options.
