Timer Group Help

Timer group is a set of timers. You can change timers by switching timer groups very easily.
Timers in multiple groups can run concurrently. Timers won't stop even the current timer group is changed. (There is an option to reset timers when the current group is changed.) The timer link across groups is supported as well.

Each group can have max 100 timers. Max 30 groups can be created.

Hide/ Show Timer Group button The Timer Group button will be displayed at the top left of the screen and show the current timer group name. Clicking the button will display the Select Timer Group dialog.
Hide/ Show Timer Group button can be done by the following option.

Settings > Timer Group Related Settings > Show Timer Group Button

By default, Show History is assigned to Timer Group button Long tap and it's possible to assign other actions by the following option.

Settings > Button Action Settings > Group Button Long Tap


Create a new timer group A new timer group can be created as follows.
  1. Open Select Timer Group dialog by clicking Timer Group button or selecting "Change Current Group" from the App Menu.
  2. Click "CREATE GROUP" on the Select Timer Group dialog.
  3. Enter a group name and click "OK".
To use the newly created group, you need to switch to the group. (change the current group to the newly created group)

Change the current group Only the timers in the current group can be started and controlled. All Start, All Stop and All Reset will be applied to the timers only in the current group.
You can change the current group (switch groups) as follows.
  1. Open Select Timer Group dialog by clicking Timer Group button or selecting "Change Current Group" from the App Menu.
  2. Select a group to show and click "OK".

Move timers to a different group To move a single timer,
  1. Select "Move to Different group" from the Timer Menu of the timer you want to move.
  2. Select a destination group on the Select Timer Group dialog and click "OK".
To move multiple timers at once,
  1. Select "Move Timers to Different Group" from the App Menu.
  2. Select the timers to move and click "OK".
  3. Select a destination group on the Select Timer Group dialog and click "OK".
Note: Checking the Create a copy check box will copy the timers to the destination group instead of moving.

Delete a timer group Single timer group can be deleted as follows.
  1. Open Select Timer Group dialog by clicking Timer Group button or selecting "Change Current Group" from the App Menu.
  2. Open the menu of the group you want to delete (click the menu button at the right of the group name on the Select Timer Group dialog).
  3. Select "Delete" from the menu.

It's possible to bulk delete multi groups as follows.
  1. Open Select Timer Group dialog by clicking Timer Group button or selecting "Change Current Group" from the App Menu.
  2. Click the menu button at the top right corner of the dialog, then select "Delete Timer Groups".
  3. Select timer groups to delete and click "OK".

Change a timer group name Timer group name can be changed as follows.
  1. Open Select Timer Group dialog by clicking Timer Group button or selecting "Change Current Group" from the App Menu.
  2. Open the menu of the group you want to change name (click the menu button at the right of the group name on the Select Timer Group dialog).
  3. Select "Change Name" from the menu.
  4. Enter a new group name and click "OK".

Copy a timer group You can create a copy of a timer group and all timers in the group as follows.
  1. Open Select Timer Group dialog by clicking Timer Group button or selecting "Change Current Group" from the App Menu.
  2. Open the menu of the group you want to copy (click the menu button at the right of the group name on the Select Timer Group dialog).
  3. Select "Copy" from the menu.
  4. Enter a new group name and click "OK".

About Select Timer Group dialog On Select Timer Group dialog, the groups having running timers are highlighted in Green and the groups having alarming timers are highlighted in Red. If you don't want to highlight, please turn off the following option.

Settings > Timer Group Related Settings > Highlight on Group Dialog

It's possible to show number of timers and running timers of each group on Select Timer Group dialog by the following option.

Settings > Timer Group Related Settings > Show Summary on Group Dialog


Group Information Bar Group Information Bar can show the current group name, number of timers and running timers in the group. By default, Group Information Bar is disabled. You can show it as footer or header by the following option.

Settings > Timer Group Related Settings > Group Information Bar Location

Group Information Bar shows only the current group name by default. Turn on the following option to show number of timers and running timers in the current group.

Settings > Timer Group Related Settings > Show Summary on Group Info Bar

By default, Long Tapping Group Info Bar will open Select Timer Group dialog. It's possible to assign other actions to Single Tap and Long Tap of Group Info Bar by the following options.

Settings > Button Action Settings > Group Info Bar Single Tap, Group Info Bar Long Tap


Show group names in notifications By enabling the following option, the timer group name as well as the timer title can be shown in the notifications.

Settings > Notification & History Settings > Show Group Name in Notification


Reset timers when changing the current group By default, timers won't be reset when the current group is changed. It's possible to reset timers when changing the current group by turning on the following option.

Settings > Timer Group Related Settings > Reset Timers at Group Change


Regarding Total Elapsed and Remaining Time calculation By default, total elapsed time and remaining time are calculated based on all timers in all groups. It can be changed to calculate per group separately by turning on the following option.

Settings > Elapsed and Other Time Settings > Calculate Total Time per Group
